Lyne Jacynthe Montsion retired at the end of July 2014 from Anglophone North School District, in Miramichi, NB, where she was responsible for all French Second Language programs. She had occupied that position for 15 years, with a 2-year secondment to the New Brunswick Department of Education where she managed Second Language Programs for the province.
At present, Lyne continues to work as an independent consultant with a number of provinces and territories, and took part in a training session on NLA for adult educators in Tokyo, Japan, under the direction of Claude Germain. She specializes in Neurolinguistic Approach with a particular focus on:
- Curriculum development (IF and PIF units, teachers’ guides)
- Teacher training (accredited “formatrice” and/or “animatrice”)
- Assessment (oral, reading and writing)
She has also published L’album-souvenir, a student reader to support the Post Intensive French program, and co-authored the Teacher’s Guides for the Myosotis II Collection with Myosotis Presse in 2014.
